<3 ‘i’m not afraid of happy endings, i’m just afraid my life won’t work that way’ <3 it’s hard to make time for the best when you’re always expecting the worst. expecting to let go of the string and see the balloon hit the clouds, see the dust fly off of the dirt track, the red of the rose start to brown. preparing to only connect via messages in bottles and moments shared between closed eyes and birthday candles and first stars and four ones on a clock. nothing gold stays, especially that which started off silver. why prolong it? so many options to entertain, in the end it will never matter which you select. let things play themselves out, trouble or not, we’ll all be dust and bones anyhow. <3
